when I decided to go through our National Geographic magazines and clip pictures of animals and tape them to a map to help my daughter learn geography. Then I came across this puzzle. So much more interactive than pointing a pictures on a map. My daughter loves it. It's engaging, fun, and she learns so much.

I like this one for kids because it introduces them to the idea of geography and the different animals that live in different places. It's simple and like all GeoToys it teaches while being fun at the same time.
Also, it is made in Germany of excellent quality so I dont worry about lead dust or some other dangerous chemicals that could end up in the kids' mouths while playing(most other toys today come from cheap factories where you never know how it is made.)

I bought this puzzle for my nephews, ages 4 and 6, both of whom love puzzles, animals, and information. That's what's great about GeoToys, generally--they'e quality toys with an extra injection of information that makes them interesting to kids as well as adults. I always learn something along with my kids (or in this case, my sister's kids).
